Book this tour over others!

We had a great time! Our tour guides Felix and JC made us feel very safe and just like family! Lots of rock climbing and the waterfalls were the best part! Prepare to get muddy - but so worth it. Would highly recommend this tour over the others because they are one of the few that give you helmets AND life jackets. After the forest we stopped for lunch at the kioskos where we had an authentic Puerto Rican meal and mojitos at Luquillo beach!

FELIX was a great guide he had patience for all and helped us get through hike . it Was a blast but was not an easy hike and you would be best served by wearing hiking shoes not sneakers. Everyone on tour worked together to get throught tough parts and encouraged each other. Great hotel pick up service and drop off highly recommend !!!

This was an absolutely incredible experience. The guides were very knowledgeable and helpful. They made sure that everyone was able to complete each part of the hike and provided support to get everyone through the harder parts. The hike was adventurous (some steep climbs, swimming, lots of mud, etc.) but was very do-able even for those who are not super athletic. We wore hiking shoes and were very happy with them - the hike would have been much harder with sneakers not made for hiking. I highly recommend this experience!

Only good thing about this company, their communication prior to the event taking place was good. Long story short i had rescheduled my tour because of flight a flight inconvenience. We get half through our tour, i fall and unfortunately break my leg. My tour guide tried to force me to walk after he told me that the rescue team wasn’t going to come to me because of one leg and that I’d be there all day waiting for them because my injury wasn’t that serious. After my tour guide decided that he was gonna call the rescue team he left. There were two other tour guides from the same company, who made it their business to make sure i was okay, i couldn’t say the same for mine, I’m disappointed, I’m upset and frankly quite irritated, this tour guide lacked a lot of training, which is pretty unfortunate for someone who is in the rainforest 6 days a week, now I’m back home with a broken tibia and fractured ankle & not once have i heard anything from the company, no apology, no follow up or anything. The only star that this monstrosity of a company got was for the other HIGHLY trained tour guides, never again.

Everything was great. What an awesome experience. But when they saw you must be in good physical condition. They are not kidding. Our tour guides were fabulous along with the tour group.

Highlight of the trip! Jamie and Big Joe made this experience more than I could have imagined! They were warm and inviting and truly made the individual groups of the trip become a family unit. I came on this trip as a solo female and was slightly intimidated how I would feel. Everyone, was warm and inviting and thanks to Jamie’s “familia” atmosphere helped each other and encouraged one another throughout our experience. Going on this hike you need to be in some sort of physical shape. You WILL be climbing up steep inclines, and using your arms and legs to pull yourself over boulders. This trip was AMAZING and I loved every aspect including the moments where I thought, “why the hell would anyone do this?”. Certainly one of the best things I’ve ever done as an experienced traveler having gone to 36 countries.

Jonathan was an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable, good safety equipment (helmet and life jacket), we had a second person to help once you jump in the water. Very fun tour, but be ready for a bumpy ride there! And wear SHOES WITH TRACTION that you won’t mind throwing away after

Sliding down waterfalls was a blast!

Tour guide was awesome, and the tour was amazing. You don't trek far, in distance, but you do hike! Get ready to use your hands and feet to climb rocks, get in the water, slide down waterfalls, and jump off cliffs into clear water (short cliffs, really short ones). People of all physical fitness levels can do it.
